Biography of Njugush
Njugush whose official name is Timothy Kimani Ndegwa is a Kenyan Journalist, a master of ceremony an actor, a comedian and a brand ambassador who featured in shows like the Real Househelp of Kawangware as Mare Mare among other shows.
Timothy Kimani was born in Meru where he grew up but moved to many places due to his dad transfers for work. There is no information on his date of birth.

Njugush attended a number if primary schools close to eight and this was due his father’s job that he could be transferred anytime. He attended Naaru High School where he did his KCSE and attained grade C+. He had passion of joining the University but couldn’t afford the fee so he decided to do journalism at Kenya Institute of Mass Communications KIMC.

Njugush started his career while still young where he could act drama in church. While studying at KIMS when he hosted a regea show in the School radio station ECN. He also acted in the school annual drama festival when he only had three lines to say (“Yes, my Lord”). At this point a comedian named Abel Mutua realized the talent Njugush had.
He later got a call from Abel who requested for a silly character in the show named Real housewives of Kawangware. Njugush was to play the part of Mare Mare. After some time when he was about to be done with his journalism classes Abel again called him to join the satirical TV show named Hapa Kule News which was at its 16th episode aired on KTN TV.
The Hapa Kule News team while shooting the show they came up with the idea of starting The Kenyan version of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and this contrasted their fleshy lifestyle. Njugush starred the show alongside his coactor the late Purity Mwirigi (Kanana Kagwiria). Before the shows came calling, Njugush was for two years toured high schools where he had a chance to do set books plays and he said this helped him train for the two shows that were waiting for him.

Other than acting on shows he has advertised for some companies products like the Zuku Kenya advertisement, Safaricom and IEBC. Njugush is also planning to work in a radio station to host a night show due to his daytime schedule. He also plans to act in a movie for won’t a act for long
