David Nganga famously known as David Sleepy is a Kenyan comedian and an entrepreneur who is currently performing comedy at Churchil Show.

Sleepy was born in a family of five boys as the fourth son. There is no information on the identity of his parents but he had four siblings with his close brother Isaac being the past born in the family

Sleepy was in a relationship with an actress named Jacky Vikes famously known as Asinja who acted in Papa Shirandula. But unfortunately Sleepy claims that Jacky left him for a Sauti Sol member named Bien Aime.
David Sleepy education background
Sleepy together with his brothers attended Matunda Primary and St Teresa Primary school in Matunda Uasin Gishu County. He later joined Vihiga Boys High School and then transferred to Lodwar High School. After High School Sleepy joined Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology to study Information technology.
David Sleepy Career
Sleepy began his career while he was still young where he could host events in their church and also perform in his High School. When he was at the University he performed his comedy and emerged the best comedian in the entire University
In 2013 Sleepy started working with a travelling theatre where he was for a year. additionally, in 2014 he joined the Heart Springs and this is where he got inspired into a stand-up comedy by the late comedian Aiyeiya. While still at Heart Spring Sleepy met Churchill and on his first day he only requested for a photo.
Later his interest came in and he auditioned at Churchill and he managed to pass and got a chance to showcase in Churchill Raw and when his performance got better he was moved to the Churchill show and this opened his mind on how to implement his crazy ideas and he also realized the potential in him. He also got a memorable chance to have been in the same stage with Basket Mouth a Nigerian comedian who is famous.
Other than Comedy Sleepy is also an entrepreneur and he made a mobile phone gaming application which was named Sleepy Awake which they charged 50 cents per game but currently is unavailable.
During the COVID 19 pandemic sleepy together with his brother didn’t face the hard time that other artists faced as they came up with an idea to build more talents nationwide by recording Shining Stars TV-show.
