Price have worked as a pastor, and he worked at Small Baptism church in Griffin in the late 1990s. He later worked as an investment advisor where he worked in a multimillion-dollar investment company. Years later in 2011 Lee became the director of late obsolete Montgomery Bank and Trust in Georgia a position he served up to 2012 before he disappeared.

In 2014 Lee Price faced investment fraud allegations in running a Ponzi scheme where he had devised a plan on how to use the bank’s security account, started selling the funds with hopes of making huge profit which he claimed was to develop the bank’s capital back-up and to be able to pay back the investors he was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment and was asked to pay restitution his victims. But he claimed that had been conned to invest to the fated middle Georgia bank.
