From 2008 to 2015 Oduol served Weston Comstor Africa as the Group CEO. He was serving the Gorilla Corporation MEA as the CEO a position he served from June 2020 to September 2021. He has also worked as the general manager of the Mustek East Africa.
Oduol has also worked with. Safaricom which is the leading Mobile Communications provider and was a sales manager. He also worked with Microsoft as the head of Channel Business and OEM Lead. At Coca-Cola Africa Oduol worked as the Field Marketing Manager. He has also been the CEO of Rozzo Africa a position he has been serving since 2020 to date.
Oduol is the founder of a CBO that specifically deals in Siaya Sustainable Livelihood named Denge community Outreach Programme (DECOP.
Oduol joined politics in 2013 when he vied for the gubernatorial position of Siaya County but unfortunately lost to the former Siaya county governor Cornel Rasanga a win he never accepted and went to court, but Rasanga ended up beating him in a by-election.
In 2017 he did not vie for any post but was still active. In 2022 when James Orengo was running for the gubernatorial position in Siaya he selected Oduol to be his running mate in the race and they won the election making Oduol the current deputy governor of Siaya County.
