Stefon Diggs career
Diggs’ career began when he was still in high school where he recorded 810 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns and finishes at the second position of the Gatirade Player of the year as a junior. In his senior stage he managed to record 277 rushing tards plus 8 touchdowns and 789 receiving yard.
At the defense he recorded 31.5 tackle and one sack. During the 2012 U.S Army All-American Bowl he was selected for the Washington Post’s in its first team All Metri at wide receiver and also The Mentgimery Gazzette’s an All-country team which was the result of him wining the 2011 MVP honors U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine. This success led to his selection to take part in the 2012 U.S Army All-American Bowl.
His senior year followed and he took part as a sprinter in track and field and in the preliminary round of the Bill Carver T&F Classic of 100-meter sprint which took place in 2011 and he managed to finish seventh. He also came third in 4 by 200 meters relay. Still as senior he took part in the 200-meter dash where he posted a personal best time of 22.30.
Ridicals ranked him as the best recruit in the Maryland states and also second wide receiver overall. He was also ranked the third best athlete in 2012, second best wide receiver prospect a title by Scout.com.
NFL Draft
Digg then decided to join the University of Maryland in his hometown in Maryland College Park where he played football for up to 2014 for the Maryland Terrapins. During the 2015 NFL Draft, Digg was selected by Minesota Vikings during its 5th round with 146th overall pick. He signed a $2.5 million deal which would go for four yaers with a $22,000 bonus.
Stefon didn’t attend the first three games but participated in week four in a match against the Denver Broncos. He recorded six catches followed by 87 yard which was the team highest in a match that ended 23-20. His career with the team started in week 6 against the Kansas City where he broke the record with 100 yard game since the previous season in week 14 in the Vikings.
He managed to finish seventh with 129 yards, 7 catches and 30 receiving yards. In week seven in a match against the Detroit Digg recorded 108 yards of 6 receiving yards and by third quarter he had recorded another 100 yards.
Vikings
On September 11th Digg led the Vikings in a match against the Tennessee with 103 yards of 7 seven receiving yards and despite being placed at the second place as a receiver he managed to lead the team in targets, yards and receiving yards. By 2017 September in the first Monday Night Football in a match against the Orleans Saints, Dig recorded 2 touchdowns and 93 yards. In week three he had recorded two touch downs and 173 receiving yards in a match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a match that ended with victory of 34-17.
In 2018 July Diggs decided to sign another 5 year and. $72 million contract with the Vikings. During week two of the season Digg recorder 49 yards and a reception in a match they lost 21-16 to Green Bay Parkers.
On week four he recorded 7 catches for 108 yards in a game they lost to Chicago Bears. In March 20th 2020 Digg was Draftrd in the Buffalo Bills in the Seventh round pick. On week four with the Bills in a match against the Hauston Texans Digg recorded more than 100 yards in his first game in the year. In April 6th 2022 Digg signed another contract of $96 million which is to be extende through the 2026 campaign. Jn week one he recorded 8 passes, 53 yards and 122 receiving yards in a 31-10 victory against the Los Angeles Rams.
