The talented Dutchman joined Holland’s biggest club Feyenoord at the age of 13 in order to pursue his dream, but he became his own worst enemy. While he made his senior debut in 2001 session in the 2002 UEFA cup final , he left Feyenoord in 2004 when he signed a four year deal with arsenal thus became part of Arsenal.
He has scored 55 goals in 280 appearances for arsenal. He was also a vice captain for the 2011-2012 season on 15th August 2012. He scored 21 goals in 105 appearances for the Manchester United. Later he joined Fenerbahce from 2015 to 2018 and scored 7 goals in 87 appearances.
