Biography of Julius Murgor
Julius Murgor is a Kenyan politician and the current senator of West Pokot County. He was elected during the August 2022 general election. Murgor is serving as the third senator of West Pokot since devolution.

Murgor attended Washington College from 1980 to 1984 where he pursued bachelor’s Art. He then joined Trinity USA where he upgraded to Masters in Art.
Career background
Murgor served as the Director at the PDM Harvesters a position he served for over thirty years from 1988 to 2021. In the ministry he conducts evangelistic training to upcoming pastors and evangelists.
Politics
During the 2007 general election he vied for the Member of Parliament for Kapenguria Constituency and won the elections. During the August 2022 general elections Murgor vied for the West Pokot senator position and he was elected his current position, serving as the third West Pokot senator since devolution. In the Senate he was elected the Senate Labour Committee chairperson.
