Early life

Wajackoyah was brought up in Matungu, the Western part of Kenya in Indangalasia village in West Wanga, Mumias, Kakamega County, Kenya. However, he was born at St. Mary Hospital in Jinja, Uganda. His father is Tito Olilo Jakoya and his mother is Melenia Makokha.

Despite being born in Uganda both of his parents are Kenyans. Therefore, Wajackoya is a Kenyan. At an early age, his parents divorced and had to relocate to Uganda where he stayed with his maternal grandparent.

At the age of 16 years, George Wajackoya left Uganda for Kenya. It is at this age that he ended up as a street boy in Nairobi. He was later rescued from the streets by Hare Krishna.

Wajackoya celebrates his birthday on 24th October. By 2022 he was 63 years old.

Wajackoya education and 17 Degree

Despite facing a tough childhood, Wajackoya emerges as a well-educated man. He holds 17 degrees.

His education journey began after completing his primary education. It is important to note that he became a street boy after completing his primary school with no prospect to continue with his education.

However after Hare rescued him, he got an opportunity to continue with his education at St. Peters Mumias where he cleared in 1980.

After his A-level education, Wajackoya joined Kiganjo Police Training College where he studied Policing and Investigation.

However, in 1990, George relocated to the United Kingdom where he acquired his 17 degrees. His refocused his studies to legal matters.

His two decades in the UK sharpened his legal knowledge and become a high-ranking lawyer in immigration law. He gained the title of a professor of Law at American Heritage University, Southern California.

Wajackoya return back to Kenya in 2010. He started Luchiri & Co advocates. Wajackoya has been running a low-profile life until when he launched The Roots party and vied for the presidency.

Wajackoya Career

After graduating from Police training college, Wajackoya started his policing career as a constable. He rose the ranks to become an inspector. It is at this stage of his career that he was selected to investigate the death of Robert Ouko that his career path took a turn. In the process of his investigation, he was abducted and tortured.

He could not bear the torture, he fled the country to the UK. At the UK he studied law and hence became a lawyer.

Wajackoya is also a lecturer at USIU and the University of Nairobi.

Wajackoya is married to an African-American wife, Meller Lee Cheatham. The couple have two daughters; Marjorie Luchiri and Marz Luchiri and one son Ty Luchiri. His family lives in the United States.
