Jalango Biography
Phelix Odiwour Khodhe who is famously known as Jalango is a Kenyan Comedian, actor, radio presented, philanthropist and a politician who is the current Langata Constituency Member of Parliament following the 2022 general elections under ODM ticket.

He was born on 27th April 1983 in Homabay County, he is 40 years old. Phelix Odiwour Khodhe celebrates his birthday on every 27th day of April. He has one sister and two brothers.

He is married to Amina Chao and the couple are blessed with two children Cheptoek Boyo and Salika.
Jalango Education
He attended Bombay Lake Primary where he sat for his KCPE and gathered 442 marks and got a chance to join Maseno school but could not continue due to lack of school fees. He then joined Barkanyango secondary school and then transferred to Nyagoma Boys high school where he sat for his KCSE and scored a C+ and got admission to Daystar University where he graduated in 2029 with Bachelor of Arts in Community development degree.
Jalango Career
Jalang’o worked at Capital Fish Company where he was employed as a fisherman in Homabay County. Phelix Odiwour Khodhe acting career began at the Kenya National Theatre and then was lucky to future in the citizen TV film Papa Shirandula where he earned his stage name Jalango.
He also worked in a Luo Radio station Ramogi as a voice cover artist, in 2009 he was hired as a radio presenter by Kiss Fm where he worked together with Caroline Mutoko. Jalango later moved to Radio Maisha where he worked up to 2017 after which he moved to Hot 96 where he worked with the famous Jeff Koinange for almost 1.4 years and got another job to work in Milele FM a job he was offered by Alex Mwakidue.
He worked till June 2020 where he was fired due to COVID-19. Three days later he got a job with Kiss 100 where he now hosts Breakfast Show with his cohost Kamene Goro. In comedy he has appeared severally in Churchil show. He is the owner of Jalango Tv a youtube channel. Jalango is the founder of Arena media which is a media company which does advertisement and marketing.
During the 2021 Madaraka day celebrations he was privileged to be the MC of the day. Jalango joined politics during the 2022 general elections where he vied for the Langata Constituency Member of Parliament with Orange Democratic Movement part ticket and won the elections.
