Pat career began when he was still in high school where he played soccer and then did his college football at West Virginia Mountaineers, recorded 20 touchdowns and 70 kickoffs in one season. In a match against Louisville where he recorded a successful onside kick off in a match that ended 46-55. His Sophmore season was in a March against Georgia Tech which was held at Gator Bowl and his team won the ten games.

He then started his junior season in a match against Western Michigan where he missed an extra point but consecutively gathered different points of 106.
