Ermias Asghedom popularly known as Nipsey Hussle, was an American rapper, businessman, and community activist, his success journey to celebrity kicked off in 2018 with his album named Victory Lab.
Early life of Nipsey Hussle
He was born in on 15th August 1985 in Los Angeles, United States. His parents were Angelique Smith and Dawit Asghedom. Hussle grew up in Crenshaw together with his siblings Samiel and Samantha.

He was the partner of actress Lauren London and was the father of two children.

He attended Hamilton High School but dropped out before graduating, he was also a street seller where he sold different products. He later decided to join music school and dedicated himself to music, community activist. Nipsey worked as a community activist in Crenshaw because he preferred to help the
community by boosting the local economy.

Nipsey Hussle Career
In 2005, Nipsey released his very first mix tape which was named Slauson Boy Volume 1, then later released first volume of the Bullets Ain’t Got No Name series which included:
- Burner on My Lap
- Ridin Slow
- Aint No Black Superman
- Hussle in the House and
- It’s Hard out Here
In 2009, Nipsey made a step by collaborating with Drake on Killer and with Snoop Dog on the Upside Down. He then released Bullets Ain’t Got No Name vol.3.
Later in 2010, he left Epic and he started his label named All Money in No Money Out. This is when he released The Marathon, a mixtape containing Such a Love , Mr. Untouchable, Young Rich and famous and Late Nights and Early Mornings. This is also the time he created The Marathon Clothing which was for both sports and casual clothing.
In 2011 he then released the mixtape named The Marathon Continues (2011), which performed during the We Are the World 25 for Haiti campaign, and was featured in the popular XXL Magazine Top Ten.
In 2013 he released Crenshaw, a mixtape that had started becoming famous because Jay-Z bought 100 copies for $ 100 each.
Later, Nipsey would release his long-awaited debut album named Victory Lap, in February 16, 2018. It received praises by critics and received a Grammy nomination for best rap album of the year.

Nipsey Hussle Death
On March 31, 2019, was said to have been killed next to his store which was located in the South Los Angeles. He was shot by a man suspected to have previously had clashed with him, later the man was arrested and charged on 2nd April 2019.
