However, Abington senior Molly missed the Suburban One League National Conference singles tournament for a different reason.
She was modeling in Paris, but she is also a talented tennis player and was named The Intelligencer’s Girls Tennis Player of the Year for 2014. Bair was undefeated in SOL National matches at No. 1 singles and played a crucial role in leading her team to an 18-3 overall record, a SOL National championship, and a spot in the PIAA Class AAA team playoffs.
Despite her busy schedule, Bair successfully managed her responsibilities on the tennis team and as a fashion model. She and her doubles partner, Salim-Bey, won both the SOL National and District One Class AAA doubles championships but lost their first match at the state tournament. Bair described playing doubles with Salim-Bey as an amazing experience, and playing high school tennis as the best part of high school.
