Michele Tafoya Vandersall is an American sportscaster at NBC Sports from 2000 to 2011. Additionally, she is the sideline reporter for shows such as “NBA on NBC” and “NBC Sunday Night Football”. She was born in Manhattan Beach, California, United States on 17th December 1964.
Michelle began her media reporting and hosting career in a Minneapolis- based radio station KFAN-AM where she covered the University of Minnesota women’s and the Minnesota Vikings game broadcasts. She later joined a Charlotte-based station, WAQS-AM, under the name Mickey Conley. Apparently, she was the first female analyst to call UNC-Charlotte men’s basketball games.
Michelle later transitioned to television and worked as a part of the Midwest Sports Channel, as the sideline reporter and host for the National Basketball Association (NBA) team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. Additionally, she did commentate the women’s Big Ten volleyball and basketball games.
