Anthony High School in Jersey City where he received limited time to play. Therefore, he transferred to
Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School to continue with his sophomore and junior year.
As a junior he managed an average of 19.9 points and 8.1 assists per game, he then transferred again for
his senior season at The Patrick School and made an average of 10.9 points per game, he made a record of average of 11.1 points, 4.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game as a fresh man and as a sophomore he averaged 17.2 points, 4.9 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game. His hard work earned him
the First Team All-Sun Belt.
During the 2021-2022 season he transferred to Kansas State and he averaged 12.4 points and team-
highs of 5.0 assists and 2.2 steals in each game. The following year in a match against Texas he recorded 36 points with nine assists and three steals with a win of 116-103, in July 2023 he earned the title scar Robertson National Player of the Week by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.
During the NCAA tournaments, Nowell he recorded 17 points and high 14 assists during a 77–65 first-
round a match they won against Montana State. In March 19 th he Nowell managed to record 27 points
and 9 assists in a Second Round over the Kentucky Wildcats. Days later he recorded 20 points and 5
steals, 19 assists in a matchup against game against Michigan State.
Nowell previously played for the Little Rock Trojans and he earned Division 1 NCAA Tournament single-
game assist record with a record of 19 which was against Michigan State during the 2023 Sweet Sixteen.
