Mallory Diane Swanson is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a forward for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). NWSL is the highest division of women’s professional soccer in the United States. Apparently, she is also the youngest in the United States women’s national soccer team (USWNT) who have managed to get to 10 career assists.

Swanson’s career began when she was in high school. She scored 47 goals and 23 assits for her team which earned her the title All-Colorado. She also scored 24 goals and 12 assists in 18 games as a junior. Mallory helped her team reach semifinals and was named the offensive MVP at Mountain Vista and a NSCAA Youth All-American for 2013. She was also named NSCAA Youth Girls National Player of the Year for 2014 and 2015.

Swanson played with two U teams that’s the U-11 through to U–17 and U–20 teams. She then in January 2016 she appeared for the USWNT international friendly against Ireland. She recorded her first debut to an international team at a young age. Mallory height was also among the 18 players restore that represented United States during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. She managed to record her first Olympic goal in a match against the Colombia which also earned the United States a win of 2-1.

At the age of 20, Swanson also represented the United States during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament.

In April 2017, she decided to waive her college career with the UCLA after her one quarter turn professional. The following month in May she signed for the Washington Spirit. However, she stayed for three seasons scoring six goals for the rookie season. She left for the Sky Blue and made her debut in September 2020, in a match against Washington Spirit. This is despite of joining the game in 61st minute. She helped in the winning goal by assisting Margaret Purce during the last minute of the match.

She was later traded to the Chicago Red Stars which was in the exchange of fourth and eighth overall draft picks in the 2021 NWSL Draft and made her debut in the team in a match against Kansas City in 2021 and she was the second best player.
