Education
Kenny attended Transcona Collegiate Institute and graduated in 2001. He later joined the University but dropped out in order to work on his career in wrestling.

When he was done with his training at the age of 16, he made his professional debut in 2000. For two years he was with the TRCW, and this is where he got his ring name Kenny Omega which was derived from a Hawaiian surfer.
In 2001 he was part of the Premier Championship Wrestling for the Winniped-base promotion. Two years later he was the winner of the Heavyweight championship for the Premier Championship Wrestling. In 2004 he emerged the winner of the Tag Team Championship in the Premier Championship Wrestling
In 2005 Kenny was sent to Deep South Wrestling which was the WWE developmental territory by that time but due to inconvenience he requested for a release from the contract. Three years later he fought for and won the Heavyweight Championship of the Jersey All Pro Wrestling.
He later lost the title during the Jersey City Rumble to Jay Lethal in 2009. During the New Japan Lro-Wrestling in the inaugural US tour he won the Light Heavyweight Championship of the JAPW.
He also took part in the Wrestling Revolution Project and he emerged the DDT Pro-wrestlings new World Junior Heavyweight Champion. He later lost the title in 2012 to Kai. The same year he won the Openweight Championship of the LORD after beating ElGenerico.
In 2013 he won the Extreme Championship of the DDT in Kodaka. The following year he was a member of Bullet club and took part in the Power Struggle event. During the Junior Heavyweght Championship of the IWGP in.2015 Keny took part and won after beating Ryusuke Taguchi.
He managed to defend the title twice but later list it to Kushida. During the Intervontinenta Championship of the IWGP held in New Begining in Niigata in 2016Kenny won the title after beating Hiroshi Tanahashi. In 2017 Kenny took part in the Wrestle Kingdom 11 event but unfortunately lost to Kazuchik Okada a IWGP Heavyweight Champion. That same year in July he participated in the right man tournament and managed to beat Tomohiro UmIshi, Michael Elgin and Jay Lethal and won the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.
He the defended his title in September that same year in a fight against Juice Robinson and again against Yoshi Hashi in October during the Global Wars. He was named the triumphant after a non-qualification match at wrestle kingdom in 2018 after beating Chris Jericho. Few days later at the New Beginning in Sapporo he lost the title to Jay White.
Heavyweight Championship
During the Heavyweight Championship of the IWGP in Dominion he managed to beat Okada whit no time limit of two out of three falls match in Osaka -Jo Hall and claimed the IWGP title. During the Wrestle Kingdom 13 in 2019 he lost the title to Hiroshi Tanahadhi and resigned for 209 days.
Kenny Omega contract
In February that year Kenny signed a four-year contract with the All Elite Wrestling. During the promotion inaugural event Double or nothing he took part and lost the fight to Chris Jericho. During the AEW World Tag Team Championship in 2020 together with Adam Page they manage to beat the SoCal Uncensored tag team and won the title, but they lost the title in September to FTR tag team that consisted of Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood.
In December Omega won the World Championship of the AEW. He defended the title and win the Impact World Championship in a fight against Rich Swann where the winner was to have all match in April the following year. Due to injury he took a haitus and he returned in August 2021.
