Senator Lemaletian studied at Milimani Primary school in Maralal and then went to St. Theresa’s Girls High school where she did her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education and excelled. She then proceeded on to the University of Nairobi to study a Bachelor’s degree in B.com Finance.
Hezena Lemaletian Career
Lemaletian worked as a Finance Assistant for Ministry of Environment Mineral and Natural Resources (2015-2017) and Tourism Fund (CTDLT) between 2013 and 2015. She currently serves as a Global Peace Ambassador, Miss Commonwealth Kenya and a Charity Ambassador for the Commonwealth. Such platforms have enabled her voice out the needs of Samburu citizens.
She is also the founder of Pastoralists Sports Initiative in Samburu which aims at uplifting the young people through sports and culture. In the year 2022, she sought to be the Women Representative in Samburu where she aspired to bring agricultural reforms. She was however, nominated by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) as a Senator.
