Biography of Godfrey Atieno Osotsi
Godfrey Atieno Osotsi is the current Senator of Vihiga County following the 2022 general elections. He was elected under the Orange Democratic Movement Party ticket which is under Azimio la Umoja Coalition. In the senate he is the Chairperson of the County Public Investments and Special Funds Committee at Parliament of Kenya.

Osotsi attended a primary school in Vihiga before he joined Chavakali boys High school. After his secondary education he joined Egerton University where he graduated with BSC in Computer Science, he then joined the University of Nairobi for his Masters and later joined JKUAT the he holds Masters in Business Administration. Osotsi also pursued Masters Degree in Information Communication Technology Management in the United Kingdom at Sunderland University.

Godfrey Atieno Osotsi career
Osotsi career began in 2001 when he worked as the ICT superintendent of Mumia’s Out growers Company Limited where he worked for three years. He then worked as the ICT manager for the Energy Regulatory Commission Group where he worked from 2003 in September to August 2007. Osotsi then worked at Davis and Shariff Company as the ICT Head. He later worked at the Business Systems Limited where he was the Chief trainer.
Politics
In politics Osotsi was nominated a member of the National Assembly in 2013 under the Amani National Congess (ANC) where he served the vice chair if the the Implementation Committee l, Information Communication and Innovation Committee and also the business committee. In 2015 Osotsi served the ANC as the Party Secretary General for two years and the responsibilities built him the foundation of National politics.
Vihiga County Senator
During the 2022 general education the MP vied for the position of Vihiga Senator in a ODM party ticket and won. In the senate he is a member of the Information, commutation and Technology committee and the Chairperson of the County Public Investments and Special Funds Committee at Parliament of Kenya,
