Gabriel’s career began when he was a youth where he played for Palmeiras where he recorded 28 appearances and managed to score 54 goals which was good for his beginning career. In 2015 in the same team Gabriel was promoted to the senior team of the Palmeiras and his debut match was in March 7th 2015 which was against the CA Bragintin0. He took part when Palmeiras won both the 2015 Copa do Brasil and the 2016 Copa do Brasil.
His international career began in 2016 when he represented Brazil during the U20 and U23 levels. His first goal at the international level was in a match against Nigeria. In September 1st 2016 was his senior career opening where he went for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification which was a match against the Quito and managed to score 9 goals.
Gabriel Signed a deal of 27 million Euros with the Manchester City and appeared in four premier league matches and scored three goals. He became an important player for the team and in six seasons he made a total of 236 appearances and scored 95 goals.
