Fernando’s career began in 2001 and moved to Renault where he served as a test driver before he was moved to the full team in 2003. At the half of the season he set a good record becoming the youngest driver with fastest lap.
While still in Renault in2005 he made his first victory in a race which was held in Australia where he became third and then went ahead wining two races successfully. During the 2006 season he emerged the youngest double champion in the sport’s history McLaren, Marcedes and Ferrari.
By 2023 he has recorded 32 Grand Prix races throughout his career and has been a regular performer throughout.
