David Ndii is a Kenyan economist, author, and columnist. His work has received local and
international acclamation. David was the managing director of African Economics. He made headlines for calling for the secession of a part of Kenya.

Ndii was born in Kiambu, Kenya. His mother is a retired civil servant.

He is married to Mwende Gatabaki Daughter of the Senior chief Peter Gatabaki of Thakwa the former Githunguri MP. They are blessed with one daughter who is 11.
Dr. David Ndii Education Background
Ndii studied at Nyhururu High school and later proceeded to Kangaru School in Embu. He obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in economics from the University of Nairobi. Ndii obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Oxford on Rhodes scholarship.

Career Journey of David Ndii
Ndii was the Chief strategic of the National super Alliance. Dr. Ndii has written several letters and tweets pointing at the economic policies and loans collected by the government. He was part of crafting of the Kenya Kwanza Manifesto.
He was the managing director of African Economics. Ndii made headlines for calling for the secession of a part of Kenya. The aim was to exclude central Kenya and part of Rift Valley and Eastern provinces by creating the People’s Republic of Kenya.
