Biography of David Mwaure Waihiga
David Mwaure Wahiga is a Kenyan politician and a lawyer by profession. He founded the Agano party and he vied for the presidential seat in the 2022 election. He also founded the Mwaure and Mwaure David Advocates.

Politics
He joined politics in 2006 where he formed a political party by the name Agano party. The party’s main aim were to promote Integrity, Excellence, Development and Professionalism. Unfortunately his party was not able to produce a presidential candidate in the 2007 general election.
In the Kamukunji by-election in 2011 after the nullification of MP Simon Mbugua, Mwaure vied for the position but wasn’t lucky and he lost. During the 2013 general election he was to run for president but changed his mind later to run for Lamu governor but he was not lucky and lost.
He then applied to become a Supreme Court Judge in Kenya but was rejected after an interview was held on him by the Judicial Service Commission. He again applied for the Court of Appeal judge position but didn’t make it. When Mike Mbuvi Sonko was impeached Mwaure decided to go for the seat of Nairobi Governor but he didn’t succeed for there was no any by-election held.
