Holcomb did his college football playing for Pittsburgh Steelers a National football League team,
during the fifth round of the 2019 draft he was drafted by Washington Redskins where he signed
a four year contract in May. In week 12 in a match against Detroit Lions, Holcomb recorded the
team highest of 13 tackles in 19-16 win. In 2020 in week 7 in a match against Dallas Cowboys
he managed to record a discharge on Andy Dalton and also managed to intercept a pass thrown
by Dalton in a 25–3 win.
