Allan Chesang is a Kenyan businessman and politician. He is the current senator of Trans Nzoia County. Chesang Was born and brought up in his home village Matano in Trans Nzoia County, which he represents as a senator.

Allan Chesang Education
The senator’s education journey started at Kitale Academy in 1995 where he sat for his Kenya Certificate of primary education K.C.P.E in 2002.
He later proceeded to St. Anthony Boys high school in Kitale where he studied for three years between 2003 – 2005 and completed his high school education at Musingu high school in Kakamega County in 2007.
Chesang is an alumnus of Moi University (2008 – 2012) in Eldoret where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in commerce, majoring in purchasing and supplies. It is claimed that he is also a holder of a master’s degree in political science from the University of Nairobi.

Allan Chesang Table Tennis Career
While in high school Allan Chesang was an active table tennis player. This opened up opportunities for him as he got to participate in various tournaments. He was fortunate enough to represent Kenya in international competitions as he was selected for the National Table Tennis team. Allan once was the Junior National table tennis champion. He represented Kenya at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010.
Moreover, he was even signed up by a professional French Table Tennis club.
From his career in table tennis, he made a lot in the millions with some bagging allowances as much as KSh. 1 million while still in high school.

Business career
From the money he made from table tennis, he ventured into various businesses. He opened up clubs in Thika (Blend club) and along Mombasa Road (The Garage). In addition, he also bought shares in various companies with the help of his father who was an insurance broker. Hon. Chesang also deals in the LPG venture and cement distribution in the South Rift region.
However, the senator claims that his business did not Fairwell, and he had to start all over.
Political Career
Chesang’s political career picked up in 2022 when he was successfully elected as the Trans Nzoia County
Senator under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket. This is after he unsuccessfully vied for the Kwanza parliamentary seat in 2017.

Allan was involved in the fake laptops tender which was to supply 3000 laptops to the office of the Deputy President. The tender was issued to Stephen Ngei Musyoka. Mr. Musyoka together lost with his partners ksh180 million. Stephen Ngei alleged that he was invited to the Deputy President’s VIP lounge where he signed the procurement documents. Chesang’s Range Rover and Mercedes E350 were impounded together with 700 laptops supplied by Mr. Stephen Ngei.
